The micro ring technique is the smallest and most undetectable non-glue hair extension technique available, which combines strands of natural hair with the extension hair using tiny copper rings.
No glue, adhesive or keratin bonds involved so there is no excessive force applied during removal and therefore no damage

Not All Hair Extensions Are Created Equal
For extensions to look natural proper blending is paramount. Unnatural blending is caused, in most circumstances, by conflicting hair textures or poor colour match. With so many different hair colours and textures on todays women a good salon should have a well-stocked inventory of hair, grades, textures and colours, on hand at all times to be able to achieve a natural and blended look.
Clip-ins can be a great temporary solution to achieve length, thickness and volume if they behave like your natural hair. Unfortunately, most of the clip-in extensions on the market today use thick processed hair in pre-bricated wefts that easily tangles and mats. The result is clip-in extensions do not feel natural, last long or blend well with the natural hair.
Recognising a gap existed in the market, Tatiana Karelina acted and was the first to introduce an exclusive line of bespoke clip-in extensions and accessories that were made from hand-tied wefts, tailored to the size of the clients head and matched perfectly to their hair colour and texture.

There are different grades of human hair used within the extension industry with Chinese and Indian being the most common types found in use today. The reason for this is - its readily available in large quantities and extremely cheap to buy.
Why Choose Russian Hair Over Chinese and Indian?
Chinese hair is thick and generally not suitable for Western womens finer hair. Indian hair while finer is only available naturally in dark browns and black. Both types of hair are amassed in such large quantities that the hair is invariably turned in opposite directions causing the hair to tangle. To reduce the thickness and to fix the problem of tangling the hair is processed. This process involves an aggressive acid treatment to strip the cuticle layer. To get the naturally dark hair blonde, the hair has to undergo a further bleaching process leaving the hair opaque and fragile. The hair is then covered with a silicone layer, which gives it a simulated healthy look. In the beginning the hair seems shiny and beautiful, but after a few washes the silicone layer starts to wash away and the colour des leaving the hair with a dull matt appearance.
In order to provide our clients with the best hair extensions Tatiana Karelina never use Chinese or Indian hair and instead only use the finest Russian and European hair. This hair never been dyed, bleached, or chemically treated and is collected in individual ponytails such that all the cuticles are cing the same direction from root to end. This ensures that the hair does not tangle or matt and will behave exactly like your natural looking hair.
Micro Ringlets are a significant advancement on conventional micro rings, which are widely accepted to be the best available hair extension attachment technique. Custom designed and manuctured by Tatiana Karelina the micro ringlets are smaller in diameter and length than conventional size micro rings.
Originally designed for people with short or fine hair who were previously considered unsuitable for micro ring extensions the small size and lightweight nature of the micro ringlets means that extensions can now be applied in areas where previously extension hair could not be attached.
Silicone Micro Rings
Similarly to what Tatiana Karelina has done with its Micro Ringlets, it has designed and manuctured its own line of silicone micro rings as all the existing silicone rings on the market had one or more deficiencies for everyday use. Rings were either too short, too small in diameter or had too much of a silicone circumference and would not be conducive to achieving a natural look.
With Tatiana Karelinas silicone micro rings, the ring are longer, lighter and have a thinner layer of silicone. This is an ideal solution for people with sensitive scalps, hair prone to breakage or those who have a tendency to lose extensions.

At this time a hair technician will bring out all the boxes of hair of the requested grade so that you can personally select the ponytails as quite often the optimal colour and texture blend is achieved by combining hair from several different ponytails. In doing this we can ensure that there is no stringy color separation as often happens when using pre-bonded hair extensions that come in a single texture and one of 15 solid colours.

The final hair drawing, custom colour blending and pre-bonding are all done in-house, ideal for same day fittings. Micro ring extensions should last three to four months before requiring maintenance, due to hair growth, at which point 100% of the extension hair can be reused.
